Трансивер FT-51R представляет собой высококлассный компактный , носимый в руке трансивер для 2-х метро-вого и 70-ти сантиметрового диапазонов. В числе нескольких новых функций, которые появились на данном трансивере, мы хотели бы назвать следующие:
— обзор диапазона — позволяет следить за активностью переговоров выше и ниже рабочего канала. При этом вам достаточно настроиться на середину интересующего вас канала, нажать на клавишу приема/передачи и вы уже можете работать с выбранной станцией.
— заранее запрограммированные сообщения помощи пользователю — помогают вам на всех этапах настройки трансивера и работы с ним. Они даже подскажут вам какой тип аккумулятора установлен на радиостанции.

— ретрансляция сообщений и DTMF сигналов с телеграфным оповещением — декодируются входящие DTMF сигналы и одновлеменно сопровождаются сообщением кодом Морзе.
