Model history and overview
Toyota corona actually became a mother not without the famous in Europe toyota carina e. Before releasing one of their models on the European market, the Japanese first release for themselves,

The second generation Toyota Corona Exiv has undergone major changes from the first, as have the Carina ED and Celica. The first generation was a hit during the boom in demand for the Toyota
Carina ED. This car evolved within the framework of its basic concept as a sedan. In comparison with the Carina ED, the car has a more «calm» appearance and differs in the size of the body. As
with the cars of the first generation, attention is drawn to the engine with a gas distribution system 4DOHC and a volume of 1.8 liters and 2 liters. A car that develops a power of 180 hp. and
equipped with a 2-liter sport twin cam engine, also equipped with a super strut suspension.
The Corona car first appeared in July 1957, slightly later than the first generation of Toyota Crown cars. But in 1996, during the preparation for the release of the 11th generation machine, it
was decided to give it a second name. Since that time, the car has become known as the Corona Premio. As before, the car continued to be considered one of the «main» sedans produced under the
Toyota brand, although the appearance of the car has changed.
But this was done with a completely understandable goal — to attract the attention of new potential buyers, mainly from among young people. For this, in particular, the name was partially
changed, for the sake of this, the design of the car was partially updated. The car was equipped with a new engine — a direct injection D-4 engine.
In addition to this 145-horsepower 2000 cc engine. see, it was possible to choose 3 more varieties of a gasoline engine, and, in addition, there was also a diesel in the model range. As a
transmission, either a 4-speed automatic transmission or a 5-speed manual gearbox could be installed, although only one version with a 4-speed automatic transmission was provided for the D-4
engine. The standard equipment of the car included double airbags, ABS system, seat belts equipped with a pretensioner & force limiter. In addition to the spacious interior, the car had a
voluminous trunk. In 2001, the model was renamed simply Premio, and the second word “corona” disappeared from the name.
The eighth generation of the Toyota Corona sedan, which began production in 1992, captivates with its dynamism. Here there is quality comparable to first-class European cars, as well as excellent
design, thanks to which the car took such a high place. This applies not only to the design, but also to the interior, provided with sufficient interior space. In Europe, the most popular 5-door
modification called SF. If we consider this liftback sedan from the point of view of practical application, then it certainly deserves attention. However, despite this, Corona SF has not achieved
widespread adoption in the Japanese market. The machine is equipped with a 1.6-, 1.8- or 2-liter in-line engine. The 1.8-liter model has a 5-speed manual transmission.

In some situations such as the following, a vehicle may not be detected by the DVR, preventing the system from operating properly: 1.If an oncoming vehicle is approaching your vehicle. 2.If the object/vehicle ahead is a human being, motorcycle or bicycle. -

Driver Alert (DA) The Driver Alert functions similarly to an alarm clock. The driver can opt to receive an alert from the DVR by selecting one the available pre-set timing of 1-3 hours. The system will trigger the alert after the pre- selected time period has elapsed to remind the driver to take a break from driving.
