If there is a need to buy a reliable, economical and powerful outboard motor, Evinrude power units will be the optimal solution to this problem. They have compact dimensions,
easily transported and mounted on the stern of the boat. Evinrude outboard engines are lightweight and feature quiet operation. Due to the presence of the E-Tec direct injection
system, boat engines are highly economical, since the fuel is supplied directly to the combustion chamber, where it is layer-by-layer burning. Manufacturers have equipped outboard motors with a
quality control system, which is designed to protect against overheating and control over the oil level.

A distinctive feature of Evinrude engines is the ability to start them regardless of the level of charge of the self-contained power source and the ambient temperature. All
motors are equipped with high-performance dual electric generators, providing energy to the operation of the injection system and control electronics. The piston system of the power plant is made
of wear-resistant alloy, which provides a high lifespan of boat motors.

Evinrude outboard engines are equipped with modern balancing «Fastrak» system, providing instant acceleration and allows you to adjust the angle of the power plant during the
movement. Evinrude engines also have the following characteristics:

  • the ability to develop high torque;
  • availability of digital control in the ignition system;
  • noiseless during operation;
  • low vibration at idle;
  • minimum emission of exhaust gases and harmful substances into the atmosphere.

To cover the Evinrude outboard motors, paint Deep Guard is used. In addition to its attractive appearance, it provides protection against corrosion. The lubricating system with
directional injection protects the working cylinders for a long time, which ensures reliable operation of the power plant. Evinrude outboard motors will not leave anyone indifferent because they
have impeccable build quality, reliability and incomparable power.

Evinrude E-TEC

Some EVINRUDE Marine Outboard Engine Operator’s Manuals PDF are above the page.

The history of the company began back in 1936, when the Johnson brothers’ mechanic-entrepreneurs decided to merge with the newly formed company Evinrude.

The resulting corporation was called OMC, and over the years it has led a fairly successful business. In particular, it was in the corporation’s design workshops that such
innovative solutions as electric start, exhaust through the propeller hub, and a system for controlling revolutions and automatically reducing them when the engine overheated were first applied.

Inexpensive and easy to maintain motors quickly found their customers.

However, in 2000 difficult times came for the company. The corporation went bankrupt, and the Evinrude brand was, like other company-owned brands, put up for auction.

A stubborn struggle was waged for him during the bidding process, as a result of which the company “Bombardier” (familiar to all outdoor enthusiasts thanks to its successful line of snowmobiles
and aqua bikes) became the new owner of the brand loved by buyers.

This is how Evinrude joined the vast family of Bombardier Recreational Products technology.

Fortunately, the new owners quickly realized that a popular brand among consumers should be promoted and developed as soon as possible, and did not skimp on investments.

The result was not long in coming — every year several new products appear in the company’s lineup.

Thanks to competent design decisions and the right management policy, the Evinrude brand today successfully produces and sells a wide variety of engine models, popular among
lovers of inexpensive and high-quality technical solutions.
