Daihatsu Move repair manual

Daihatsu Move

The Daihatsu Move is a kei car, produced by Japanese automaker Daihatsu since August 1995. The Move is designed to be as tall as compact cars like the Suzuki Wagon R. Daihatsu successfully sold 500,000 Moves during its first three years of production. The Move is built upon the chassis of the Daihatsu Cuore but with a taller body. The first generation Daihatsu Move was sold with a 659 cc straight-three engine in Japan, and with an 847 cc ED20 engine in export markets. Due to poor sales, Daihatsu did not export the third or fourth generation Moves to Europe, making it strictly a domestic market model.

Daihatsu All Car Manuals

The Japanese company Daihatsu Kogyo Co. Ltd. headquartered in Osaka was established in 1951 after the reorganization of the Hatsudoki company. Daihatsu specializes in compact cars and
manufactures mini passenger cars, class B and class C subcompacts, small SUVs and light trucks. In 1957, the Daihatsu company surprises the world public with the Midget three-wheeled micro-car,
which was very popular. The two-cylinder, 2-stroke engine was installed in a Hi-Jet pickup truck that rolled off the assembly line in 1960. In 1961, the company introduced the Hi-Jet van, and a
year later, the New-Line pickup, which had a water-cooled engine.

The Fellow passenger car with two doors was born in 1963. The Daihatsu Compagno was delivered to England in 1966, and this brand was the first Japanese car to go on sale in foggy Albion. In 1967,
Daihatsu merges with Toyota Motor and actually becomes its subsidiary. In 1972, the Fellow appears in the form of a 4-door sedan. Outside Japan, this model was called Daihatsu 360. In 1974,
Daihatsu Kogyo was renamed Daihatsu Motor Company. The Daihatsu Charmant, based on the Toyota Corolla, was produced in 1975. The first Daihatsu SUV was created in 1976. In 1997, the Terios with a
drive on both axles and the Mira Classic came off the assembly line. In 1998, Daihatsu Motor delivers its 20 millionth vehicle to the market. The Terios Kid debuts in Frankfurt with an
all-terrain model, in which a family of 5 can make trips to nature.

In 1999, Toyota took over control of Daihatsu. At this time, the Naked, Atrai Wagon and Mira Gino cars roll off the assembly line. Daihatsu Motor successfully embodies its motto “We make it
compact” in its cars, making them compact and economical. As of June 2006, Toyota owns 51.6% of Daihatsu. Over the next few years, Daihatsu has been gradually increasing the volume of car
production; by the end of 2008, 1.3 million units of equipment were produced. After the financial crisis in 2011, sales of Daihatsu vehicles in Europe have been falling, and since that time the
company has been strengthening its presence in the Asian markets. In 2016, Toyota acquires the remaining assets of Daihatsu, completely absorbing the brand under its control.
