    The openings on the enclosure are for air convection hence

    REAR PANELThe rear panel provides the following connectors:

    HARDWARE SETUPThis chapter tells you how to install the CPU,
    memory modules, and expansion cards, aswell as how to setup the
    jumpers on the mainboard. It also provides the instructions
    onconnecting the peripheral devices, such as the mouse, keyboard,
    etc. While doing the

    installation, be careful in holding the components and follow
    the installation procedures.

    CPU & Cooler Installation Procedures for LGA775When you are
    installing the CPU, make sure the CPU has a cooler attached on the
    top toprevent overheating. Meanwhile, do not forget to apply some
    thermal paste on CPU before

    installing the heat sink/cooler fan for better heat
    dispersion.

    Follow the steps below to install the CPU & cooler
    correctly. Wrong installation will cause thedamage of your CPU
    & mainboard.

    Introduction to LGA 775 CPU

    The pin-pad side of LGA 775 CPU. The surface of LGA 775 CPU.

    1. The CPU socket has a plastic cap on it to protect the
    contact

    from damage. Before you have installed the CPU, alwayscover it
    to protect the socket pin.

    2. Remove the cap from lever hinge side.

    3. The pins of socket reveal.

    4. Open the load lever.

    5. Lift the load lever up and open the load plate.

    6. After confirming the CPU direction for correct mating,
    putdown the CPU in the socket housing frame. Be sure to grasp

    on the edge of the CPU base. Note that the alignment keys

    are matched.

    7. Visually inspect if the CPU is seated well into the socket.
    Ifnot, take out the CPU with pure vertical motion and
    reinstall.

    8. Cover the load plate onto the package.

    9. Press down the load lever lightly onto the load plate,
    andthen secure the lever with the hook under retention tab.

    10. Align the holes on the mainboard with the cooler. Push
    downthe cooler until its four clips get wedged into the holes of
    themainboard.

    11. Press the four hooks down to fasten the cooler. Then
    rotatethe locking switch (refer to the correct direction marked on
    it)to lock the hooks.

    12. Turn over the mainboard to confirm that the clip-ends
    are

    correctly inserted.

    Important:

    Read the CPU status in BIOS.

    Whenever CPU is not installed, always protect your CPU socket
    pin with the plastic capcovered to avoid damaging.

    Mainboard photos shown in this section are for demonstration of
    the CPU/cooler installationonly. The appearance of your mainboard
    may vary depending on the model you purchase.

    Installing Memory Modules1. The memory module has only one notch

    Auto Disable DIMM/PCI FrequencyWhen set to [Enabled], the system
    will remove (turn off) clocks from empty DIMM and PCIslots to
    minimize the electromagnetic interference (EMI).

    Spread SpectrumWhen the motherboard#s clock generator pulses,
    the extreme values (spikes) of the pulsescreate EMI
    (Electromagnetic Interference). The Spread Spectrum function
    reduces the EMIgenerated by modulating the pulses so that the
    spikes of the pulses are reduced to flattercurves. If you do not
    have any EMI problem, leave the setting at Disabled for optimal
    systemstability and performance. But if you are plagued by EMI, set
    to Enabled for EMI reduction.

    Remember to disable Spread Spectrum if you are overclocking
    because even a slight jittercan introduce a temporary boost in
    clock speed which may just cause your overclockedprocessor to lock

    Panneau ArrireLe panneau arrire dispose les connecteurs
    suivants:

    INSTALLATION MATRIELLECe chapitre vous indique comment installer
    le CPU, les modules de mmoire, les cartesdextension et comment
    installer les cavaliers sur la carte. Il explique galement

    Lors de linstallation du matriel,veuillez suivre les instructions

    Installation du LGA775 CPU et du refroidissementQuand vous
    installerez votre CPU, assurez-vous que le CPU possde un systme
    derefroidissement pour prvenir les surchauffes. Si vous ne possdez
    pas de systme derefroidissement, contactez votre revendeur pour
    vous en procurer un et installez le avantdallumer lordinateur.
    Noubliez pas dutiliser des composants en silicium de transfert

    1. Le socket CPU possde un plastique de protection. Ne leretirer
    quau moment dinstaller le CPU.

    2. Enlevez le chapeau de la charnire du levier.3. On rvle les
    broches de la douille.

    4. Ouvrez le levier de charge.

    5. Lever le levier et ouvrir le plateau de chargement.

    6. Aprs avoir confirm la direction du CPU pour
    joindrecorrectement, dposez le CPU dans l’armature du logementde
    douille. Faites attention au bord de sa base. Notez quonaligne les
    coins assortis.

    7. Inspectez visuellement si le CPU est pos bien dans la

    douille. Si non, sortez verticalement le CPU pur et
    larinstallez.

    8. Couvrez le plat de charge sur le paquet.

    9. Abaisser le levier sur le plateau de chargement, puisscuriser
    lensemble avec le mcanisme de rtention.

    10. Aligner les trous de la carte avec ventilateur. Installer
    leventilateur dans les trous de la carte mre.

    11. Appuyez sur le crochets pour attacher le ventilatuer.
    Puiseffectuer une rotation des systmes de rtention (voir

    ventilateur pour le sens de rotation).12. Retourner la carte mre
    pour sassurer que le ventilateur est

    correctement install.

    Important:

    Lisez les status du CPU dans le BIOS.

    Toujours protgez les pins de socket du CPU avec le platique de
    tout domage quand leCPU nest pas install.

    Lapparence de votre carte peut changer selon lemodel que vous

    Installation des modules de mmoire1. Le module de mmoire ne
    possde quune encoche en son centre. Ainsi il nest

    possible de monter le module que dans un seul sens.

    2. Insrez verticalement le module de mmoire dans le slot DIMM.
    Puis poussez lel-dedans jusqu ce que le doigt dor sur le module de
    mmoire est insrprofondment dans le slot DIMM. Vous ne pouvez
    presque pas voir le doigt dor si lemodule de mmoire est
    correctement insr dans le slot DIMM.

    3. Le clip en plastique situ de chaque ct du module va se fermer
    automatiquement.

    Les modules de mmoire DDR2 ne sont pas interchangeables par DDR
    et vice versa. Vousdevez installer toujours les modules de mmoire
    DDR2 dans les slots DDR2 DIMM.

    2. Entfernen Sie zuerst die Schutzkappe wie abgebildet
    inPfeilrichtung.

    3. Sie sehen jetzt die Pins des Sockels.

    4. ffnen Sie den Sockelverschlusshebel.

    5. Klappen Sie den Hebel ganz auf und ffnen Sie
    dieMetallverschlussklappe.

    6. Vergewissern Sie sich anhand der Justiermarkierungen unddem
    gelben Dreieck, da die CPU in der korrekten Positionist. Setzen Sie
    anschlieend die CPU in den Sockel.

    7. Begutachten Sie, ob die CPU richtig im Sockel sitzt.
    Fallsnicht, ziehen Sie die CPU durch eine rein vertikaleBewegung
    wieder heraus. Versuchen Sie es erneut.

    8. Schlieen Sie die Abdeckung des Sockels.

    9. Drcken Sie den Verschlusshebel mit leichtem Druck nachunten
    und arretieren Sie den Hebel unter demRckhaltehaken des
    CPU-Sockels.

    10. Fhren Sie den CPU-Khler ber den CPU-Sockel undpositionieren
    Sie die Arretierungsstifte des Khlers ber die
