    ■ При затягивании стояночного тормоза, не нажимайте кнопку его разблокировки. На спусках или подъемах затягивайте стояночный тормоз как можно сильнее. Чтобы снизить усилие, прилагаемое к стояночному тормозу, одновременно выжмите тормозную педаль.

    ■ Выключение двигателя и зажигания. Поверните ключ зажигания в положение 0 и выньте или в стоящем на месте автомобиле нажмите на кнопку Старт/стоп и откройте дверь водителя. Покачайте рулевое колесо, пока не почувствуете, что сработал его блокиратор. У автомобилей с автоматической коробкой передач ключ можно вынуть только в том случае, если рычаг селектора находится в положении P. Если селектор не переведен в положение P или не включен стояночный тормоз, на дисплее трансмиссии в течение нескольких секунд будет мигать «P».

    ■ Если автомобиль стоит на ровной поверхности или подъеме, перед тем, как выключить зажигание, включите первую передачу или переведите рычаг селектора в положение P. Остановившись на подъеме, поверните передние колеса в сторону от бордюрного камня. Остановившись на спуске, перед выключением зажигания включите заднюю передачу или переведите рычаг селектора в положение P. Поверните передние колеса к бордюрному камню.
    ■ Заприте автомобиль с помощью кнопки p радиобрелока или с помощью датчика на ручке передней двери. Для включения противоугонного устройства и противоугонной сигнализации нажмите два раза кнопку p или дважды коснитесь датчика на ручке передней двери.
    ■ Не оставляйте автомобиль стоять на поверхности, способной легко воспламениться. В этом случае причиной загорания поверхности может стать высокая температура системы выпуска отработавших газов автомобиля.

    ■ Если не был затянут стояночный тормоз, на автомобилях с автоматизированной механической коробкой передач R после выключения зажигания несколько секунд мигает индикатор.
    ■ Закройте окна.
    ■ Вентиляторы охлаждения двигателя могут работать и после выключения двигателя.
    ■ Если двигатель автомобиля работал на высоких оборотах под большой нагрузкой, перед тем, как заглушить двигатель, для защиты турбонагнетателя дайте ему поработать с малой нагрузкой или в течение примерно 30 секунд на холостом ходу при нейтральном положении селектора передач.
