  It is not intended to provide the total ventilatory requirements of the patient. WARNING: We do not recommend you use the Respironics V60 Ventilator on patients who require ventilation at predetermined tidal volumes. The ventilator provides continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) and positive pressure ventilation (S/T, PCV, and AVAPS, and PPV) and is indicated for assisted ventilation only.

CAUTION: The Respironics V60 Ventilator is designed to operate in the temperature range of 5 to 40 ºC (41 to 104 ºF).   Chapter 3. General information Intended use The Respironics V60 Ventilator is an assist ventilator and is intended to augment patient breathing. It is intended for spontaneously breathing individuals who require mechanical ventilation: patients with respiratory failure, chronic respiratory insufficiency, or obstructive sleep apnea in a hospital or other institutional settings under the direction of a physician.
