A third glass is installed or additional protection to reduce the temperature of the outside surface (only with some models). • Appliance operation is safe with and without tray guides. • Oven door hinges may be damaged if overloaded.     Grilling and browning • When grilling meat, you should be particularly careful. The high temperatures and infra heater heat the grid and other parts of the oven to very high degrees; use protective kitchen gloves and special meat tongs. • Hot fat may squirt out of pierced meat (e.g. from sausages). To avoid burning your skin or eyes, use meat tongs.
