The salt container is located beneath the lower basket and should be filled as follows: Attention • Only use salt specifically designed for the use in dishwashers! Every other type of salt not specifically designed for the use in a dishwasher, especially table salt, will damage the water softener.

  Loading the dishwasher racks For the best performance of the dishwasher, follow these loading guidelines. Features and appearance of racks and silver ware baskets may vary from your model. Attention Scrape off any large amounts of leftover food. It is not necessary to rinse the dishes under running water. Place objects in the dishwasher in the following order: 1.
