Сетевой дисковый массив DNS-323 с 2 отсеками для жестких дисков SATA предоставляет пользователям возможность совместного использования документов, файлов, и цифровых медиафайлов в домашней или офисной сети. Совместимость с медиаплеерами

Защита, производительность и гибкость использования
В DNS-323 доступны 4 различных режима работы с жесткими дисками (Standard, JBOD, RAID 0, RAID 1), позволяющих пользователям выбрать необходимую конфигурацию. В режиме Standard для использования доступны два отдельных жестких диска. Режим JBOD объединяет оба диска в один. Режим RAID 0 обеспечивает высокую производительность за счет разделения записи и чтения между двумя жесткими дисками. При использовании режима RAID 1 содержимое одного жесткого диска дублируется на другой, что обеспечивает максимальную надежность. Если один из жестких дисков выходит из строя, второй продолжает функционировать в полном объеме.

    Network Activity Light Power Button: Press once to power on the DNS-323. Press and hold the button until it begins to blink to power down the DNS-323. Drive Lights: These lights will be solid BLUE when drives are connected but inactive. The lights will blink when the drives are being accessed, formatted or synchronized.

    Reset Button Power Receptacle: The 12V 3A / 5V 3A power supply connects here. Ethernet Port: A Gigabit Ethernet port that connects the DNS-323 to a network. USB Port: USB Print Server port for connecting a USB printer. Drive Eject Lever: Use the provided levers to eject the hard drives.

    This section provides unpacking and installation information for the DNS-323. Open the shipping carton for the DNS-323 and carefully unpack its contents. To install the DNS-323 on your local network, refer to the steps below: 1. Access the drive bays by sliding the faceplate up until it unlatches from the device.

    SATA connectors on the bottom edge inside the drive bay of the DNS-323. Gently push the drive in until it connects. When a drive is inserted properly, you will feel it “seat” into the connector. Some hard drives that are thin or oddly shaped may need to be guided carefully into position.

    FTP Server The DNS-323 is equipped with a built in FTP Server. The server is easy to configure and allows users access to important data whether they are on the local network or at a remote location. The FTP server can be configured to allow user access to specific directories, and will allow up to 10 users to access the DNS-323 at a time.

    Section 3 — Configuration If you are behind a router, you will need to forward the FTP port from the router to the DNS-323. Additional filtering and firewall settings may need to be modified on your router to allow FTP Access to the DNS-323 from the Internet.

    UPnP AV Server The DNS-323 features a UPnP AV Server. This server provides the ability to stream photos, music and videos to UPnP AV compatible network media players. If the server is enabled, the DNS-323 will be automatically detected by UPnP AV compatible media players on your local network.

    Server The DNS-323 features an iTunes Server. This server provides the ability to share music and videos to computers on the local network running iTunes. If the server is enabled, the DNS-323 will be automatically detected by the iTunes program and the music and videos contained in the specified directory will be available to stream over the network.

    Section 3 — Configuration After enabling the iTunes server on the DNS-323, launch iTunes. When iTunes detects the DNS-323, select it and you will be prompted to enter the iTunes server password if required. Select the DNS-323. When prompted, enter in the iTunes server password.

    DHCP Server The DNS-323 can be used as a DHCP Server. As a DHCP server, it can be used to serve IP addresses to devices on your local network, however, this feature should not be enabled if you already have a DHCP server, such as a router on your local network.

    Tools Admin The Admin menu allows you to set a password for the admin account. It is recommended to set an admin account password when first configuring the DNS-323. The administrator user name is User Name admin, and this cannot be changed.

    Section 3 — Configuration Time The DNS-323 Time page contains several different options for setting the device’s internal clock. It is important that accurate time is set so that scheduled backups and downloads will be accurate. NTP Server Network Time Protocol (NTP) synchronizes the DNS-323 with an Internet time server.

    Section 3 — Configuration System The DNS-323 System menu provides options for system restarts, saving and loading configuration settings, and setting idle times. Последнее время знакомые часто просят порекомендовать сетевой дисковый накопитель, так сказать для дома, для семьи. Что же можно предложить, когда на рынке NAS такое разнообразие, что не знаешь с какого бока начинать смотреть?
Ну конечно радует то, что прошли времена, когда лучшим решением считалось напихать в стационарный компьютер побольше винчестеров и назвать это НАКОПИТЕЛЕМ. В какой-то степени это обусловлено отсутствием этих самых стационарных tower-ов, а в ноутбуки, планшеты и смартфоны пихать некуда. Ну и конечно экономический фактор – достаточно высокое энергопотребление «стационарников», большие размеры и высокая шумность. В этом плане маленький NAS вне конкуренции.
И все же, что предложить? Лет 5 назад озадачился этим вопросом, прочитал много даташитов по QNAP, D-Link, HP, WD и Synology.
QNAP отпал сразу. Неплохие машины, но мое мнение – они не стоят своих денег. Возможности для домашних требований избыточны, а переплачивать за то, чем я вряд ли буду пользоваться, очень не хочется. Производительность – тут тоже вопрос. Pro’шная серия показывает очень хорошие результаты, но и стоит соответственно. А вот серия SOHO уровня далеко не «ураган».
HP не впечатлила, кроме как ценой, в отрицательном смысле. У WD 5 лет назад NAS’ов фактически не было.
Остановился на D-Link и Synology. По описанию и отзывам Synology очень понравились. Но не люблю покупать железо, не пощупав его собственноручно. А к нам в то время Synology почему-то не возили.
Взял то, что было доступно – D-Link DNS-323. Первый блин конечно же комом – самые новые винчестеры он определить не смог. Погуглил… Оказалось проблема достаточно распространенная и этим болеют NAS’ы фактически всех производителей. И у всех есть «Compatible Lists», в котором перечислены гарантированно совместимые HDD, UPS, USB dongle & etc. Залил самую свежую прошивку с http://tsd.dlink.com.tw (на ftp.dlink.ru ее на тот момент не было) и наступило счастье! Все винчестеры новых моделей, которые у меня были, определялись и великолепно работали.
Но что меня больше всего впечатлило, так это возможности этой машинки. Родная прошивка предлагает стандартный «джентельменский» набор функционала сетевого накопителя. Но есть дополнение – fun_plug, которое из обычного NAS делает практически полнофункциональный линукс сервер. И это при том, что к родной прошивке fun_plug является дополнением, а не альтернативной прошивкой (за альтернативные прошивки можно и гарантии лишиться).
Но это был экскурс в историю. Помня удачный опыт с DNS-323 посмотрел, что подобного D-Link предлагает сегодня. Больше всего меня заинтересовал DNS-325 – по сравнению с DNS-323 производительность 3 раза выше, а цена в 1.5 раза ниже. А возможности – дальше, больше, лучше!

Тактико-технические характеристики:

Базовый функционал:
1. Диски можно собрать

  • Standard (каждый диск – отдельный раздел)
  • JBOD (один раздел; объем = disk1 + disk2)
  • RAID-0 (один раздел; объем = наименьший диск * 2; скорость выше, чем в JBOD)
  • RAID-1 (один раздел; объем = наименьший диск; при выходе из строя одного из HDD, с опцией Auto-Rebuild Enable, автоматическое восстановление данных, после замены «мертвого» HDD)

2. Встроенный S.M.A.R.T. Test может показать состояние HDD на текущий момент, а так же отправлять отчеты на e-mail регулярно, по указанному расписанию. ScanDisk проведет проверку файловой системы и, по возможности, устранит логические ошибки ФС.

3. Возможность задать дисковую квоту каждому пользователю или группе пользователей.

4. «Расшаривание» любого каталога для определенных пользователей/групп с указанными правами, а так же монтирование и «расшаривание» ISO –образов как отдельного раздела. Доступ у «шарам» по протоколам CIFS/Samba, FTP, NFS и WebDAV.

5. Расширенные настройки FTP-сервера позволяют, кроме изменения ftp-порта, принудительно использовать passive mode с четким выбором портов, указанием кодовой таблицы (например UTF-8), ограничением скорости приема/передачи, а так же использования FTP TLS и FXP.

6. Сервер UPnP AV, более известный как DLNA-сервер.

7. Для любителей руссифицированных интерфейсов – «Language Pack RU».

8. Сообщения по e-mail о событиях: переполнение диска, извлечение диска, авария диска, превышение допустимой температуры диска, автостарт после пропадания питания и т.п.

Теперь рассмотрим, почему же DNS-325 vs. DNS-323 – «дальше, больше, лучше». Если в DNS-323 все дополнения ставились с помощью fun_plug и человек, хотя бы поверхностно не знакомый с линуксом, далеко не все программы мог установить. В DNS-325 видимо учли большую популярность fun_plug и добавили систему Add-On’ов.

Т.е. в DNS-325 тот же торрент-клиент Transmission ставится за пару кликов мышкой, а не как в fun_plug – выполнением кучи команд через телнет. С установкой Add-On’ов теперь справится любая домохозяйка. Хотя про fun_plug забывать не стоит, Add-On’ы есть пока не под весь интересный софт.

И так, Add-On’ы:
1. FTP/HTTP Downloads. Даете FTP/HTTP URL, указываете, куда сохранить скачиваемый файл и задаете время, когда начать скачивание. Остальное – дело техники.

2. Ну куда же без торрентов! Есть встроенный в прошивку торрент-клиент.

Ну как по мне, так очень не удобен в пользовании и мало функционален. Более интересен Add-On Transmission. Управляется как через Web-интерфейс, так и внешним transmission-gui, имеющимся под любые операционные системы.

3. Web File Server. Файловый менеджер через Web-интерфейс.

4. Surveillance Center. Полноценная система видеонаблюдения: онлайн квадратор на 4 камеры, видеоархив, автопоиск камер, постоянная запись и запись по событию, ну и т.п.

5. MiniPBX. Полноценный SIP-сервер на базе Asterisk с Web-интерфейсом Asterisk GUI 2.0.

6. Photo Center. Неплохой движок фотогалереи. Можно использовать внутри сети, а при желании выставить на всеобщее обозрение в Интернет.

7. Webmin. Графический Web-интерфейс для управления сервером, на базе Unix подобных операционных систем.

И это малая толика того, что может DNS-325. Для тех, кому 2-х дисков покажется маловато, есть DNS-345. Фактически эта та же машина, но на 4 диска. Ну и повторюсь: не стоит забывать про fun_plug, Add-On’ы есть пока не под весь интересный софт. А то, чего нет в fun_plug, при желании можно скомпилировать и на самом DNS-325. Благо все нужные инструменты имеются.
Для тех, кто не представляет сервер без монитора и клавиатуры. USB порт есть, т.е. клавиатуру подключить можно. На плате есть контактная площадка, подписанная «VGA». Работа паяльником, конечно, лишит устройство гарантии, но если душа хочет монитора, то почему бы и нет ;)
В заключении отвечу все-таки на вопрос: что же из NAS’ов можно советовать домашним пользователям и небольшим фирмам, не имеющим в штате продвинутого сисадмина? Для себя я решение принял – DNS-325 или DNS-345. Безусловно, машина не абсолютный идеал. Например, имея гигабитный порт Ethernet, скорость записи не более 50 Мбайт/с, что почти в 2 раза ниже пропускной способности порта. Но большинству пользователей для дома больше и не нужно. А с перечисленными выше функциональными возможностями у нее просто нет конкурента в этой ценовой категории.
